30 July: Sapa Another day of rain, unfortunately we still had a lot of admin to do. Our clothes, poncho's, shoes and bags were all drenched in mud. We spent the morning washing and hanging everything out to dry, we weren't the only ones, the balcony was practically full of shoes and tops hung out to dry. 29 July: Sapa At last a morning where we could sleep late! We woke up just before 08h00, finished up and headed down to the family and our guide. We were offered coffee before breakfast came, its a 15% coffee, 55% sugar, 30% creamer mix, sweet but nice. 28 July: Sapa I woke early in the morning, not sure whether it was a child screaming, but some others speculated it was most probably a cat. It was somewhere between 04h00 - 05h00 as it was still dark outside, the rain had started falling and was pounding the roof just overhead. 27 July: Sapa Today the big trek started, it had rained the night before, but now there was only a light drizzle. We got up and headed to the market for breakfast, where we met John and Barbra, sitting at our veg & tofu soup lady's stall.
