We head back for another rise through the hills back to pokhara, a speedier journey due to the lack of cars on the road for the mainday of the Dashain festival we get there in speedy time. Whilst out getting out last few trekking bits the heavens open and flood the street around us. We ran ov er to a local bar and enjoyed an ice cream laden espresso. Another bumpy bumpy ride we soar through the mountains just stopping for food and arrive at Kathmandu at around three. The journey was interesting seeing families preparing for The dashain fstivsl, skinning goats and buying new clothes for all the family members. Another early start (same old story) we catch a mini bus to pokhara with a mix of other tourists. A super bumpy ride with weird upright seats, it takes around 7 hours through the scenic hillside before we finally reach the touristy town of lakeside pokhara. A leisurely stroll down the shop lined street, we eventually reach the lake viewpoint at the northern end of the road.
