We left for Christchurch at 10ish this morning, and arrived at around lunchtime.

We are staying in a campsite about 4km from the city centre, as unfortunately the centre is still off limits after the recent earthquakes. It's a shame because I've heard that Christchurch is a really nice place.

After lunch we walked for about half an hour to the Westfield shopping centre (yes, the same chain as the Shepherd's Bush one). We booked some cinema tickets to see 'Just Go With It' with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, and then went to do some window shopping. Hannah and I got our eyebrows waxed for only £2.50!

The film was actually very funny for a standard romcom, and it only cost us £5.50 (they have bargain Tuesday here as well).

We stopped at the supermarket on the way back for some potatoes which we had for dinner when we got back to Colin the campervan for our last night! After dinner we put the radio on and packed our stuff - it is so strange packing for the last time.

After everything was packed and we'd (eventually) managed to dismantle the table, we cracked open a bottle of wine and had a nice chat about our travelling times. Although I am really excited about going home, I feel very sad to be leaving this carefree way of life - especially knowing I have to enter the grown up world of non-stop full time employment when I get home.
