We had a lie in on Royal Wedding day until about 11am (this meant that Vicky got 15 hours sleep!) before strolling into town. We found an amazing pyjama shop in which we wanted to buy everything. We woke up at 11ish all feeling a little bit delicate from the night before, and headed into town to find a cafe. I had a really nice tomato soup and a freshly squeezed apple and orange juice which definitely helped! We woke up in Te Anau without any more trouble from locals. It was absolutely freezing though! I put on an extra pair of socks and another jumper before we set of for Queenstown. Luckily I can sit in bed and wear my seatbelt so I snuggled under my duvet for the journey.
