Free breakfast is served between 7 and 10am here which is good because it gets us out of bed. I filled up on porridge and toast with a view to not eating lunch (a money saving endeavour as opposed an eating disorder).
Luckily the sun was kind of out, so we found a sunbed by the pool and just read. It is so relaxing here - we're a short taxi ride from the nearest town and you can't access the nearest resort along the beach, so we're quite isolated, which is a good thing.
I Skyped Ed at 12.30pm (I though we were 12 hours ahead but we are actually 11 hours - it'll be 12 in NZ!) - the sound didn't work so we had to type but it was still really nice to talk to him.
Unfortunately not long after that it started to rain and didn't stop until the evening, so we once again spent the afternoon reading and napping on the bean bags in our dorm. I didn't mind though, it is still really relaxing to just sit and read whilst it rains torrentially outside.
We went for dinner at around 6.30pm, I hadn't had lunch so I had an Indian chicken curry, which came with rice, pappadums, rotis and a dahl soup - all for £6.70. It was so filling!
After dinner we chatted for a bit and watched Lauren and Kelly (two girls in our dorm) play pool. I called my Grandma for a chat because I hadn't spoken to her for a while, it was really nice to speak to her. I think she was pleased to hear from me too. Because we don't want to spend money, we can't drink, so we got bored quite quickly and were in bed by 9.30pm!
It took me a while to fall asleep so I just read by torchlight for a while - I'm quite enjoying the doing nothing and reading though!
