Went to angkor temples got up at 4.30am after going to bed at 1.30(we watched the football!) so we could see the sunrise! Yes we know what you're thinking and yes we are very cultured!!! Temples were beautiful lots of steep steps to climb though(check out the photos!!) basically fi went up first got 1/2 way up and shat herself then came back down, I had a go, got 3/4 of the way up shat myself and sat down then plucked up the couraged to go to the top!! Felt like doing the rocky dance but didn't coz i was too knackered after climbing all those steps!!! fi then joined me it was totally worth it, although we did stay longer than needed coz we didn't want go down the steps again!!!! When we got nearly to the bottom a cambodian tour guide kept saying 'be careful be careful hand rail handrail' Obviously we were like ha ha ha good joke this temples is god knows how old there won't be hand rails then walked round the corner and there was another set of steps with a bloody handrail! Went round some more temples, saw where they filmed tomb raider (jealous are we holly!!!!) then had to kip in the afternoon coz we were bushed! Went out for dinner with some other people who were on our mini bus from hell and had a few too many mekong whiskey and coke buckets and over slept so had 15mins to get packed before getting the bus to Phnom Penn (capital) We were hung over and worse for wear.xxxxx
