went to visit the killing fields of choung ek today. Unfortunately its is the wet season here and it chucked it down with rain so we both had to sport a rather attractive plastic sheet like rain coat to stop us getting completely wet!!!! Went to angkor temples got up at 4.30am after going to bed at 1.30(we watched the football!) so we could see the sunrise! Yes we know what you're thinking and yes we are very cultured!!! Got a bus from bangkok to Sien Reap in cambodia. Had this plush bus from bangkok to the border then swapped onto the s***est mini bus, garden chairs down the aisle for extra seating!!! the road was just a dirt trackl and was so bumpy that it took us 5hrs to go 150km! plus the bus broke down twice, so we were stuck in the middle of no where for 40mins! eventually got to siem reap after a very sore bum!
