Sitting in Cafe Jambo drinking THE strongest iced coffee in existence! Just bought some ginger nuts, water, bread, laughing cow, and juice to sustain me for 450 Kenyan shillings, glamour! Had a decent first night sleep, although kept on waking up around 5 paranoid that the alarm wouldn't go off! Had fruit salad for breakfast, although no papaya after Mum's stories! Saw Tusker beer in the market and got quite excited: sad really! First night in the tent was not as comfortable: forgot to unpack my pyjamas so they got locked away in the truck! Luckily it wasn't too cold. Had a couple of Tuskers with some girls on the trip, and spoke to the guide, who it turns out is from Bulawayo!

Pancakes for breakfast tomorrow: who could ask for anything more?
