After saying goodbye to everyone leaving from Livingstone, those of us heading to Botswana and beyond boarded the truck for the drive to the Botswana border and then Chobe River for a river cruise. Our uneventful border crossing was ruined by some thieves thinking it was their lucky day when they jumped on the truck whilst it crossed on the ferry; pedestrians had to go on a separate ferry.
