Day 43 9th jan
Today we travel 305km south from Hoi An to Quy Nhon - eight and a half hours..... which is a half way stop off point between Hoi An and Nha Trang.
It's another day of pretty much non stop riding on Highway 1..... Rice fields and mountains galore.... but this time we've come prepared... We have lunch, which we pull off the main road and stop halfway down a rice paddy access track to enjoy. I think we are the only westerners that have ever been down this road, so we attach our usual crowd of rubber necked Vietnamese whilst eating, only this time they manage to stay on there bikes....
We arrive at our hotel as it begins to get dark... And it's overcast... We've been lucky today... It could of rained all day but bar the odd isolated 5 min shower we got away with it...
The hotel don't recognise our booking due to a "agoda" c*** up, but they have room so we are in, and bar venturing out for a pizza we pretty much do nothing else... 8hrs sat on a bike does nothing for your bum so its nice to be doing something else, even if it is watching telly....
