We went through Mohawk Valley and could almost see Henry Fonda and Claudette Colbert tilling the fields as in Drums along the Mohawk.

Getting ready to leave. Watched a funny DVD called Mystery Ranch while getting ready. Loving our mini kuerig. Enjoyed a great cup of coffee this morning. We're refining this camping experience pretty well. We've been listening to Don't Know Much About the American Presidents. It's interesting. I may buy a hardback copy when we get home. This stream ran at the edge of our campground. Herkimer, New York, is nothing like I picture New York. I always think of New York City, but this is hilly and sparsely settled. Just passed Farmer Dan's Pumpkins. Gorgeous view from the road here.
