We waited as long as we could hoping the rain would stop. As you can see, it didn't.

As usual, we didn't get started as early as we had planned. We finished loading this morning and headed for Rowen's Kennel to board Miss Pris. As luck would have it, we noticed that we forgot to load the cat food. Since Pris is such a finicky eater these days, we decided to turn around. When we finally got on the road, I recorded the time--10:57. We are determined to get to Missouri before eating lunch.
