Sara and I both got up late this morning as there was no where to go, no included excursions to organize and mostly everything was up to date….plus they serve breakfast until 11am at hotel Hetman.
We had a lazy breakfast and met one of our new passengers, we didn't actually leave the breakfast room until about 12pm, when the sun came out and I decided to go for a walk.
As per my usual habit I went to retrace the orientation tour. I walked out of the hotel, past the ever impressive Orthodox church and past the zoo, which now had two large brown bears playing in an enclosure out the front. Even though they would probably rip me to shreds I still thought they were cute and they seemed to be putting on a show for the passers by.
I crossed the river and went back into the old town, it was now sunny and the weekend, so there were a lot more people around. There was a man playing the accordion, another man walking along with a load of balloons and just generally people enjoying the sunshine. I was certainly one of those people, after the weather I've been though in the last few weeks.
I ate lunch in a Mexican restaurant before going back to the hotel, to prepare for the next pre departure meeting, which I would be giving to the two passengers joining here in Warsaw. I got through that with no problems and then Sara and I went out for dinner with one of them. We went down to trendy Zabrowska street and ate in a nice little French place which had a lovely ambience. I looked at the pictures of Paris on the walls and couldn't believe I was only there three weeks ago. It feels like so much longer.
Very early start for us tomorrow, we are leaving tomorrow to get the train to Krakow.
