Today we were given a free day to explore. I got up a bit later and headed straight for Denny's for a country fried steak for breakfast, which was awesome as usual. This morning we checked out of the Miramar and left our bags at the Sheraton Waikiki before going to our site inspection at the Moana Surfrider. We had a really, really big breakfast. Early this morning we were picked up and taken for a long drive to Pearl Harbour, the site of the Japanese attack on US soil during WWII. We got there and were shown a short film showing the history, before we were transferred to a small boat and taken out to the USS Arizona memorial. This morning we packed up and checked out of the Marriott. We had our site inspection and breakfast at the Mekena Beach resort and then headed for the airport to check in for out helicopter tour. Our start today was a 5:45am, very painful. We met in the lobby and drove to the harbour for our snorkelling tour. We boarded our boat and set off for the Molokini Crater. We were given snorkelling gear and off we went. The snorkelling wasn't as good as in Sharm el Sheikh, but is was still pretty cool.
