Visited the Tourist Information office this morning then checked out the main street. Echuca is a really interesting place, lots of good food and coffee shops and a number of camping shops. The port is also very busy with Paddle Steamers and house boats milling about.
Lunch at Beechworth Bakery, it was as good as it's reputation. Then headed off, stopped at Kerang for a bit of shopping and a look around. Then decided we would head for Quambatook for the night, the decision was made on price of the Caravan Park (time for a shower and scrub up). We had a reasonable sort of a detour due to roads being closed because of the floods. The area is still very much in recovery mode. It's been a warmer day today at 31c, this is a nice spot, looking forward to a good restful night.
