Bush camp on the river at Merbein just out of Mildura tonight. Couldn't get to where we were heading as there's a river across the track. So just pulled up and we'll spend the night here.
Filled van with rainwater this morning.
Called in to the lookout at Lake Tyrell, it's quite impressive, we'd like to come back and investigate another time.
Lunch at Ouyen then onto Mildura via the back blocks.
A bit of shopping, collected some stuff at the Information Centre then off to find this spot to camp. Tried a couple of ways to get through the water to a spot where there are toilets but to no avail. So Bush Camp tonight.
Oh we did call into a Christian bookshop for a card, talked to the lady about her business, tough competing with Word and Koorong but can be done.
Got the younger girl (that'd be Ellie) booked in for a crew cut tomorrow.
