Visited the Tourist Information office this morning then checked out the main street. Echuca is a really interesting place, lots of good food and coffee shops and a number of camping shops. Up this morning and went to church at New Peninsula, a good time of worship. Then called in on Ray to pick up the last thing we had forgotten ha! Then headed out of Melbourne. Had lunch at the new man made lake at Craigieburn, then afternoon cuppa at Lake Eppalock. There were a few boats and picnickers. Well we're finally off. Handed the house over this morning, then dropped the car at Ray and Jo's. Great to spend a little time with Maddy and Thomas before we left. We then headed down the peninsula and spent the night right next to the water at Shoreham with Phillip Island just across the water. A couple of blokes woke us at about 11.30 when they came and started wading with lights, flounder fishing. It is a fantastic spot and it was a great first night.
