Today started off late due to the 3:30 finish last night, but I managed to pull myself out of bed around 10:30 and blitz some baked beans in the microwave and slap them on some superbly cooked toast, we then said our goodbyes to Ricardo who was moving on to Spain to teach and Sarah and Raj who were getting the bus to Kuala Lumpa, after a quick shower we set off out to check out the huge shopping centre on orchard street, this thing was large, about 6 storeys, each floor crammed with crazy stores and we visited every floor, we nabbed a few pastries from a little Asian bakery and hopped on the train to Marina Bay Sands.
Marina Bay Sands was a huge complex, you had to strain your neck to look at the top, we visited the gardens next to the complex and they were filled with crazy sculptures, artwork, carved wooden benches, statues, everything and everything that you wanted to see whilst in Singapore, we did the proper tourist bit and took a few photos that I will upload shortly, we managed to make our way to the viewing gallery which out looked the river and have some amazing sites of the city, also took a few snaps here too...
We then headed back to the hawkers near our hostel and devoured another £1.50 feast and sunk a few large brewskis before making our way back to the hostel where I think we may try and manage a fairly early night! Missing my chums back home a bit, but seriously, wouldn't change this lifestyle now if someone begged me!
