First full day in Singapore today, it started a bit late due to lack of sleep, the guy across the room from me snored inhumanly loud, it sounded like an angry bear with chainsaws for paws and hedge strimmers for teeth.. We claimed our free toast and hot drinks with much joy and demolished a few slices between us, after a decent shower we were ready to set off, literally about to step out the door and a downpour starts, mare, we wait for the rain to die off then head out.
Once out we decide to take a stroll for a while and end up at shopping/business complex where we enquiry coach prices to Thailand, $40SGD - well good.
We then walk further to a memorisable park and chill out before hitching a subway ride to Chinatown!
This place is mad, so busy and every single person wants you in there shop and wants you to buy stuff, we have a mooch around and sit down for a large tiger beer, it hits the spot.
We then visited a Hindu temple, it was pretty awesome but you had to pay to take photos so you'll just have to take my word for it!
We then went to a bigger park and chilled out there for a little while, had some cool sculptures was dead quiet compared to the rest of the city.
It was getting a bit late by this point so hitched the subway again to our hostels area and nipped into the shop on the way back to purchase some cheap ass noodles, tasted good though, both pretty drained and are going to attempt a full nights sleep, hopefully the chainsaw bear doesn't have a repeat performance...
