The now usual wake up time of mid morning was well into effect, I lazed about in bed for a little bit before getting up and piling my laundry into a bag and walking down to the laundrette to put my wash on, when my clothes were in the washer I popped back to get my phone which had been on charge and on the way back to the laundrette I stopped for a bit to eat for lunch, I got back as my cycle was finished and put them in the drier and then played about on my phone for 30 mins. When it was all done I dropped it back off at the apartment and after phoning Jed we met at Myrtle station and began what should have been an easy journey to liberty island, however 2 lines were up for maintenance so we had to take about 4 trains to get there which was a pain in the ass and it was super humid which didn't help! We got there eventually and after purchasing our tickets we were soon on the ferry across to liberty island where we got some great snaps of the Statue of Liberty, we then found a decent spot in the shade and chilled out there for a while before hitch the ferry back to NYC. We went in search of a comic book store at Time Square but our search was in vain, we then hit up 5th ave but no luck her either, it was running quite late by this point so we hit up a Mexican for dinner and then caught the train home. We both intended to get an early night but spent about 2 hour discussing with Mel about our surprise return home so again ended up putting my head down around midnight, adjusting to normal times back home is going to be fun...
