Spent the morning chilling at the hostel with the Irish boys over breakfast and read through their cv's as they were job hunting today, the green tortoise has a way of making time fly, before I knew it, it was around 11am I spoke to Meg an Aussie girl who was renting push bikes with a few other people at 2pm so agreed to meet them at the rental shop at 2, I left the hostel around midday and headed down to fisherman's wharf again as they have so much to see and do down there, I treated myself to a decent lunch before my cycle and got a crab chowder in a bread bowl, fan bloody tastic, would highly recommend, finished my lunch and made my way to the bike shop, I was first one there so just did the paper work quick and shortly after the girls turned up, we got all our bikes and helmets sorted then made our way out about 2:30 we headed down to the sea front and followed the bay all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge (with multiple photo stops on the way of course! We made it to the bridge and it was super windy so put my ever trusty jacket on. We cycled across the whole bridge to the other side and had a little celebration, the two other girls kept going but I needed to return the bike the same day so meg and I headed back and I dropped the ol' Shang off, Meg then went to get her nails done and I got back to the hostel just in time to help Angelio (chef boss man) make tonight's dinner, now the primary reason behind this was he was a nice guy and I wanted to help, the secondary was that I had technically checked out and wanted free dinner so thought id help... I literally chopped lettuce for about 15 minutes and was done happy with that. After dinner a couple live bands played at the hostel which was cool and as they were winding down me and a few people played some pool for a little while. Before I knew it 10pm was looming and my airport shuttle was going to be at the hostel soon, so I said goodbye to everyone and waited in reception, shocker, the shuttle was 10 mins late, followed by a ridiculous 15 minute wait to pick up some dumbass couple. I made my displeasure known and didn't tip the shuttle bellend upon leaving his mini bus. I rushed through the worlds worst checkin at the airport and had to go back to them as they didn't offer to check my big bag in which I almost ended up taking as hand luggage... Any way, managed to eventually check my bag in and check myself and successfully make it through security.. Again. I then sat around a little while before boarding my flight around midnight and after a bit of super uncomfortable re-arranging managed to get to sleep on one of the most stressful evenings of my trip, but hey ho, on route to Miami!
