Got up a tad early and had some brekkie with Andy, James and Jordan turned up shortly after and we all got our gear together and hopped on the bus just up the road all the way to Santa Monica pier, we walked down the pier and took in all the sights, it was an awesome place and had a pretty retro feel to it, we walked through the arcade and James and I played a quick game of guitar hero, brought back some memories! When we were done on the pier we cruised back to the bus station and caught the bus for the best part of an hour to Hollywood! We were a little out so walked to the start of the star walk on Hollywood boulevard, saw some pretty big names including Stan Lee and Tom Cruise! After strolling down the boulevard for a little while we were stopped in the street by a random women and asked if she could buy us ice creams... Bit strange but worked for us, basically when you bought and ice cream you got given a limited edition pin which was very collectible, but you could only get one ice cream per person per day so she had to bus us the ice creams to get the pins, so we all got $16 sundaes for free, great success! We continued down the street with sundaes in hand when a tour guide got talking to us about a Hollywood tour, it was meant to be $50 a head but we got it for $20 a head with one of us going for free so we took him up on the offer and jumped in an open top car, we visited a lot of celebrity houses and went up to an incredible view point where I took a few snaps, after some more celebrity houses and famous film locations the tour guide dropped us off in Beverly Hills, where we got a snap with the sign, we then got back on the bus all the way to Venice Beach, the guys went to in n out burger and I popped back to the hostel and made some dinner, we all pitched in for a crate of beer and had a few brewskis to end a very productive day, we were all pretty drained come the end of the beers so decided to call it a night and get some well deserved shut eye
