We have swapped the Green Machine people carrier we hired over Christmas for a Green & Purple Jucy! How things have changed from the Audi & MG!

We have spent the last few days on the Coromandel Peninsula, the area to the East of Auckland. The road is mostly coastal all the way with a few breaks over mountains to the next gorgeous bay.

We called in at a few of the tourist hot-spots like Cathedral Cove, Cook's Beach & Hot Water Beach and all in all love the peninsula. The scenery of New Zealand is stunning which ever way we seem to look!

We are now about to start our tour of the East Cape, the far North East of NZ. Before we start we're going to have a few beers and spend the night in Opotiki. We missed out on beers last night as we ended up on a 'Christian' campground, and there was a strict "No Drinking" rule. Thank fully we weren't made to sing hymns around the campfire!
