Arrived in Singapore and walked around to find a hostel. Prices went from 5 pounds for a great hostel in Vietnam to 12 each in Singapore for the worst we’ve stayed in. Stayed next to little India and ate street food then walked around the town for two days seeing the sites, China town, orchard road (shopping area) and marina bay sands (with the famous trees) discovering why Singapore is not for travellers on a budget. We used the metro to get around and to and from the airport which was the only cold part of the city.
We lived of mc Donald’s and found the worlds cheapest Michelin star restaurant, also went to a local Indian restaurant where we were the only white people and only ones eating curry with cutlery and not our fingers.
The second to last day we visited Singapore zoo which was amazing and got to feed elephants.
The next day we flew to Bali :)
