The snorkelling trip was definitely a highlight so far, it rained the whole afternoon but we hardly noticed when we were in the water. We snorkeled with a gigantic turtle for a good ten minutes and saw the most amazing fish. Both got bit by zebra looking fish which followed us everywhere. After we went for pizza and ordered two which was a really bad idea (humongous!).

Sad to leave the island but checked out the next day and got the ferry to Koh Phangan and arrived at our new hostel which was amazing. It was owned by English people and our room had 5 other people in which we spent the whole weekend with. We loved of 50bart (£1.25) rice and chocolate milk all week. With the occasional Gatorade (American lucozade) to help the hangovers.
First night we danced on the beach for ages, second we spent way too much going to a party in the jungle which was amazing but super bad music. Third night was the full moon festival on the beach (not sure how they fit that many people on such a small beach but it was amazing) we drank cheap but dangerously alcoholic buckets and got very drunk, we didn’t go to sleep until 8 the next morning.
When we walked on the beach the next day it was spotless and all the locals must spend the day cleaning it.

The next two days we spent sleeping by the pool and then went to watch the sunset in the amsterdam bar on a hill.

We then spent a whole day travelling to Cambodia where we’ve been in bed for three days recovering.

Finally we’re going to Angkor wat (so Nathan can geek out looking at temples) tomorrow and then traveling from Siem Reap to phenom phen.
