In Hoi An we went walked around town where it was raining ate great pizza and spring rolls and a weird Vietnamese soup. The town was full of lanterns, candles, market stalls, tourists and kids in dragon costumes for the dragon festival.

The next day was a beach day and then we found a western cafe with pie and chips. In Hoi An we stayed in vbh which was really fun and full of drunken people. We flew to Ho Chi Minh that night.

Ho Chi Minh has traffic like you’ve never seen before but with scooters everywhere. Stayed in vbh again (although was definitely not as good).
The next day we went to the Vietnamese war tunnels (which they actually doubled in size for tourists and we still only just fit). Found a great Vietnamese restaurant down a dodgy alley way but had the most amazing food. Checked out the next morning and stayed in a home stay. Went to the war museum. Alec went for a massage and flew home that night and we planned our next stop. After several earthquakes changing are plans many times we decided on Singapore and Bali. The next morning we flew to Singapore after having an egg coffee (Vietnamese).
