All is going well, really well.Yesterday was fantastic for a number of reasons but i'll start at the beggining. In the morning i spent my time writing up a poster along the lines of, 'Young Scottish guy looking for two people to go in van' and then photo-copied it a few times. The rest of the afternoon was just walking round town putting the sign up in about 8 different backpacker hostels. It all hoever payed off as i was in an internet cafe when i got a call from two girls who were interested in coming in the van! So we arranged to meet at the nearest pub for a chat and a few pints. After a few beers they knew all about the van and seamed really interested, the great thing was that i was getting on really well with them. Coralie is from France and is 25 and Fiona is from Belgium and is 18, they both speak excellent English and are as keen as i am about the upcoming trip (which believe me is VERY keen). As we were sitting there having a chat none other than Toady (from Neighbours) walks up and says hello! He was promoating his new Neighbours night and so was just speaking to people in the bar. Luckily i had my camera so took some cheesy photos and said id see him at the night (i cant make it...).To top the day off, when i got back to the hostel me and my room-mate (Karl from Sweeden) went to the bar for a few drinks and ended up having a brlliant time. There were all sorts of people there including; an OZy who bought eveyone drinks, some crazy Dutch folk, a German girl wh gave me advice about the campervan trip and a bunch of Scottish all out for a good time. I had a great night out but probably went to bed a bit late as i had to check out the next morning, painful.Overall a brilliant day and one i wont forget for a while. Right now i am staying with family friends Bob and Jackie Cox who are very welcoming and have let me stay until the van trip on Monday.
