I sleep in and just make my tuk tuk. I get to the bus station and need to wait 2 hours to leave. Last night was fun at the bowling. I help the bus driver load the vehicle and he rewards me with the front seat. Leg room being a change (LT)
A bumpy 4 hours sees me driving through some beautiful terrain. Large mountains, small villages and enough rice paddy fields to feed a nation.
I arrive at Nong Khiaw and jump on a tuk tuk. The lao lad talks me into going to his hostel. (Meexai) A bargain at 60000 kip.
A very quiet town, split in 2 by a bridge. I seem to be on the busier side.
Met an Irish couple Bobby and Claire. We have a few drinks and then go looking for a mysterious bar called Hive. Quite a walk, back across the bridge. The only 4 customers were 2 Spanish lads, a Brazilian girl and an English girl, all who stayed at Khamammy in Luang Prabang. I meet a crazed Dutch guy on the way back who gives me a bottle of whiskey. We go back to the English girls place by the river. Guitar playing to the wee small hours.
