As we were late getting off the train yesterday and had to reschedule things a little bit, we now have a free day today to do whatever we want. We couldn't decide what to do so we got out the guide book and found somewhere to go and get a proper breakfast. We found a place called "The (U.N.) Irish Bar and Bakery" in the book and headed off on foot trying our best to avoid all the Tuk-Tuk drivers asking us if we want a lift. It seemed strange to them that we just wanted to walk!

We got to the bakery around 10am and ordered our breakfast. Mmm! Proper bacon.

After breakfast Christina went outside for a cigarette and got talking to an Australian guy called Sean who was sitting out there, after paying the bill I went out and joined her. We talked for a little with Sean and then couldn't decide what to do today, so while deciding and as it was so hot, I ordered an ice cold beer and Christina had a pinacolada.  As you now might guess, the beer went down so nicely we ordered another round, and another, and another, and another and the rest was history as they say.

We were sat in the bar talking with Sean and many other people until midnight when we got a Tuk-Tuk home!!!

It’s amazing how you can take so many pictures in 1 day without leaving a bar, we had loads of pictures showing every stage of intoxication! I won’t bore you with them but I will upload a few.
