We spent the next 2 nights in the capital and went into the city by bus. It was easy to get around on foot and see most of the sights. The heart of the old town is lined with 19th century shop fronts, courtyards and cobbled passages and is overlooked by a castle perched high on a hill. We spent a good few hours strolling around the old town and market and had a good leisurely lunch sitting in the sun along the river.

The mornings are very chilly at the moment but it is a mountenous area, by lunch time though it is really quite warm with clear blue sunny skies.
