Arrived in Porto yesterday (6th) evening and were shattered from the journey so took an early one and decided to leave the exploration for today. Porto is very beautiful, the mountains surrounding it are stunning too and there are some really great views all over the city. But there's something missing here. I cant even say what it is. It just doesn't have the same energy or feeling that Lisbon has for me.

Saying goodbye to Lagos and now heading back up north for one more night in the lovely Lisbon before heading further north to Porto.

I very chilled weekend spent in Lagos, we took a walk around the town but there was not much to do so headed to the beaches for the rest of the day. We walked along the cliffs the next day which was really beautiful and met up with a friend on the beach again. Lagos is a really great place to do nothing! The water is cool, the suns hot and the waves are good for surfing apparently, just wish we had some more money to rent surfboards. Maybe next time! (The picture...

After saying goodbye to Lisbon (but not for long) we headed south to the Algarve. Lagos is an incredibly touristic town so there is not much to do but some great bars, and the best beaches I've ever seen. The weather is so good here in Portugal, especially down here.
