On the 23rd we eventually got to the top of Castle Santa de Barbara, after a lovely walk up in the midday sun. It was worth it for this view though.

Explored the town more on the 22nd, we were tempted to climb up to the top of the castle that is in the centre but couldn't be bothered. So we got ice creams instead. The hostel we are staying at here is awesome, they were celebrating there 3 year anniversary today so they were doing a BBQ on the roof which was fun, we met some more people and another couple from Cambridge, he had just got out of UNI studying film so we had a lot to talk about! It was a fun night...

On bank holiday Monday we hopped on another train and arrived in Alicante. After getting to the hostel in the afternoon we took a walk around, a lot of things were closed but we don't generally go into the shops and those kinds of places; all the stuff you get back home. We found this crazy street with toadstools with faces on them and slides... It was weird but Paige loved it (naturally).
