Started the day off at Wurzburg's Residenz, or should I say the former prince-bishop's residence? Anyway, I didn't understand the whole prince-bishop concept, so I wasn't really expecting much in terms of his house. C'mon, we'd been visiting castles and palaces this whole trip. Arrived at Wurzburg and checked into the city hotel. The town was kind of dead, being a Sunday and after 6 pm. But we went out for a quick walk to familiarize ourselves before dinner. We ended up at a Trip Advisor and Rick Steves recommended restaurant by the Main (mine) river and old bridge called the Alte MainMuehl - the old Mine mill.
