A mid-day train ride brings us to Seville. This means we have time for a leisurely breakfast and some early morning souvenir shopping.First order of business is to ask about laundry. Great, there is a self serve place not to far from the hotel. Not so great, we got there at 2:05 and they are closed from 2pm until 4pm. (Is it any wonder there economy wasn’t doing so great?) While carrying our dirty laundry, we give in and have a very nice lunch and head over to the Bull fighting ring. They are able to keep the luggage at the ticket desk so we could do the tour unencumbered. Who’d take dirty clothes? Now, I’d never go see an actual bull fight but the tour of the ring and museum they have is interesting. By the time we’re done, Chris heads back to start the laundry while Ryan and I head back to the hotel for a swim. Turns out it isn’t self serve you leave it and the attendant takes care of it so you come back later, so Chris comes back to the hotel in time join us for a swim and a nap. When we retrieve the laundry, its time for dinner so it goes for another walk. Well traveled laundry we have. Many times we have found that the best places to eat aren’t the best looking from the outside. The opposite is also true. We ended up on the roof top of a place on the river on the bridge back to our hotel. Gorgeous view of the city and the Gold Tower at sunset. Decent Sangria. Not bad food. But oh the view. At least it wasn’t expensive.
