This is a day to ourselves and to return the car. The Rental place is only open until noon so we have to return it by then so we can’t sleep as late as we’d like. And, we’d like to try to find a Laundromat to clean some clothes. Apparently there are no self serve place in the whole town so that’s out. So instead, after we return the car we take the leisurely walk back to the center of town stopping in the Plaza by the cathedral for Churro...

Today starts with a morning tour of the Alhambra. Our guide picks us up in the lobby and we walk over. Granada was the last strong hold of the moors before the reconquista in 1492. Hmmm? year ring a bell? It feels like we are still in Morocco, but with a little something else. The gardens, the palace, the mosaics; everything is so beautiful. So, we’re supposed to pick up the rental car around 11am. I figure after a leisurely breakfast we’d call a cab to get to the border, walk across and grab a Spanish cab on the other side. No problem, right? Nope. The receptionist called, supposedly, twice to get a cab and each time they supposedly picked us up.
