Abbie - This morning we decided to stay here for another day so that we could go on an opal mine tour and also see some underground churches. First we went to a scenic lookout. It was a beautiful sight we could see all of Coober Pedy. I took a great panoramic photo. After we went to underground opal mine. It was called the Old Timers Mine. I felt quite scared at first but I got used to being underground and I loved it. We put on hard-hats and we had a map so we didn't get lost. After a great experience of a mine, we needed a break for lunch. We went to a bakery where we had pies for lunch. After we went to a few underground churches, we came back and I helped dad cook the dinner on the BBQ. We then had dinner and went to bed.
Olivia - This morning we all woke up and we got dressed. After that Abbie and I went to the park and had a play for about half and hour. I enjoyed it! Our next stop was the old timers mine where we went around underground and there was even models to show how it was like in those days. The second place we went to was a park where Abbie and I had loads of fun. For lunch I had a meat pie and a lamington for desert. Next we went to an underground chapel and Abbie, mum, dad and I say a bit of an opera. Then we went to another church where I touched holy water that I liked. But it wasn't as good as the other church. Then we went back to the caravan park and Abbie and I had a play then Abbie left. And I played with the other people. Then we went to bed.

Jordan Hello Abbie and Olivia! Are you having fun?? What has been the best thing so far?

Andrea Green I'm really enjoying your blog Olivia and Abbie. I wasn't going to comment on this entry (just to give you a rest from me), but I have something funny to tell you. Please keep in mind that I am a really BAD singer. Anyway, I invented a new genre of music called rapra. Rapra is a blend of rap and opera. I sometime like to be a bit silly with my young nieces, I've been known to pretend that I am a really good singer and belt out a few rapra tunes for them. Crazy hey? Perhaps if you are in need of some entertainment in the car, you could entertain your mum and dad with some rapra tunes as you drive along. I'm sure they'd just love that! Lol.

Abbie peck Hello granny, I find opals in testing but I would spend all my money on an opal! Yes we did see white opals!
From olivia Jordie my best thing was probably getting to go under ground in a mine and getting to wear a hard hat. We also got three opals each. If you don't know what opals are the are little tiny rocks or stones with colourful shiny bits in them. When we went into the mine there were things called milky opals which are opals with a coloure sort of like milk they look cool. Do you think you might want a opal for yourself?
Abbie Hi kozie, I got a little bit claustrophobic!
From olivia Anastasia no we did'nt get stuck in the mine. We had to wear hard hats so we do'nt bang our head. We are having loads of fun. I miss you to. I sang a type of opra at an underground church.
Abbie Good suggestion Andrea we will try that in the car next time!
Dan I have been to Coober Pedy. When we staid under ground it is really cool
