Abbie - Today we left our roadhouse stop and we went to Coober Pedy (it was probably about three and three quarter hours!). We had a few snacks on the way but we didn't stop until we got to Coober Pedy. We knew we were in Coober Pedy because there was big opal mounds everywhere. They're around thirty to fifty feet deep. Then we headed in and found a Big 4 caravan park to stay in. Then we looked around town and we first looked at the golf course, it was weird because their was no grass and it was just dry soil. Then after we went to a underground bookshop. I felt a bit enclosed but I did get used to going underground because after we went to Faye's Underground Home. It was great and amazing. Faye built her house with two other friends, they were both women. The house was amazing and it even had an entertainment room which Faye built an in-ground pool it was excellent. The we cam back and had dinner and went to bed.
Olivia - First we got up out of bed and packed up the caravan to go to another place. Our first stop was called Bon Bon where we had morning tea. I finished my soft drink off from last night it was yum! Then we got in the car and went off. The next place was called Coober Pedy where we got a tour at a place called Faye's. At the end Abbie and I got three Opals each. Opals are little stones that have really shiny things in them that are sometimes rainbow. Then we went to the caravan park where we put the caravan and went to bed.
P.S. Faye's was an underground house that a lady built with two of her friends.

Granny xx Did the women dig the underground house by hand or did they hire machinery?
Andrea Green Oh how fascinating. An underground house with an underground pool! I hope the pool has a lining or it will soon turn into a mud bath! I had a little laugh seeing that you went to Bon Bon. I immediately thought of Bron Bron. Please tell your mother I am missing her at work, I even considered sticking my cup to the desk with blu tack myself, just for old time's sake. Your mum might think that is a little funny perhaps.
From olivia Granny she dug her house with a pick and shovel. It sound's hard to do don't you think?
Abbie peck Hello Andrea, mums having a chuckle to herself and she does miss tricking you!
