We've decided that we want Thai Airways to operate in Canada - these guys have it figured out! We had a great flight over to Hong Kong and since the airports in Asia are super-efficient we were at our hotel in Kowloon overlooking Victoria Harbor before we knew it.
Food was first in mind (actually, it was a hot shower, truth be told) so we decided to eat at the Harborside Restaurant here at the Intercontinental hotel. It was wonderful and the exhaustion hit as soon as we had finished eating, but we decided to take a quick walk along the boardwalk with their version of 'avenue of stars / walk of fame'. It is only actors from HK; notable ones are Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan (my personal favorite) and Jet Li. The pollution here is horrible! We'll see what it's like today - probably worse because it's a bit overcast (or is that smog???) :)
