Currently sat having a Saigon beer and a banana daiquiri after our first day in Saigon. We got up pretty early and tried out the shower! Wow! Worst shower ever!!
Paul had a full English with fries?! We booked a trip for tomorrow, then made our way to Saigons tallest tower!
It was quite an adventure as the roads are absolutely crazy! I don't think they've heard of a red light, and there's certainly no green man!!! The rules seem to be that if you walk slowly, the motorbikes will try to avoid you! Very interesting, but we're becoming pros after a couple of near death experiences!
The tower has a viewing point on floor 49, which was quite special! The lift travelled at 7 floors per second! It was all very posh and very Christmassy! Paul had a nice poo to we wish you a merry Christmas whilst contemplating where it goes when you're 49 floors up!!!
On our way back we found a Christmas tat shop and bought some Vietnamese tinsel and happy party banners for Sarah's birthday!!
It felt like a long walk back as both our feet were rubbing, but we still managed to find a market and have a quick look around.
After lunch (where Paul's beer cost 40p!!) we went up to the room to change my flip flops! 4 hours later we realised we'd accidentally had quite a long nap!!!
We visited some more markets before dinner and a few beverages!
