We've made it! The journey was long, but it all went to plan, which was a slight miracle after the problems with the cancelling of flights and then having to put our luggage underneath!

The plane was impressive, though we still didn't manage to get very much sleep. We landed in Vietnam at 8pm, and it took over an hour to get our visas! We then did some taxi haggling and made it to the city at about 10.30pm. We walked down a little alley and booked into a hotel. It's basic, but does the job!

We then had our first Vietnamese meal - v nice. A few drinks later, we went to bed.

We woke up freezing this morning because we decided it was a good idea to set the a/c to 16 degrees!
