Day 46. A really comfortable night in the old Vandenberg Pub in Forbes. Our last big breakfast downtown, refuelled and then 300km to home at last. Stopped at small town of Grenfell famous for gold, bushrangers and birthplace of Henry Lawson. Then onto the bustling wealthy town of Young famous for the 1860 Lambing Flat riots of the Chinese on the goldfields and now for cherries and sheep. Countryside so green and lush but a little cold adjustment required. Quick visit to the local menswear shop to buy some new jeans to spruce up for our arrival home and some gifts for our ladies. Arrived into Canberra about 2.00pm, so green and lush with lots of blossoms, Spring is on the way. Big welcome from Raechel, she is so pleased to see me home safely. A huge trip over 12,000km and 46 days. But always glad to come home! Till our next trip, farewell blog.
