For my birthday I decided to do something special to help me remember it and so I went off sailing on a 22.5metre racing boat around the famous Whitsunday Islands in Queensland for 3days. This was another unforgetable experience and a couple of times we stopped and went snorkelling around the reef. The coral was absolutely beautiful and the fish which inhabited it were just fantastic looking and all different shapes and colours. Some people saw Sting Rays and a shark but I missed them. Did see a few turtles though which popped their head up to the surface to breath. Another highlight of this was Whitehaven beach which was probably the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. Have a look at the pictures in the photo albums to see what I mean.
