We really only visited Glasgow because we got cheap flights here from London. The city itself was OK, plenty of shops and stuff, and some nice old buildings in the older part of town. The university building was impressive, reminiscent of Oxford, and the main city square was nice too. We visited one of the museums and learnt a bit about Scotland's history; from when the dinosours roamed Scotland, to modern times, as well as a bit about more modern animals (including the Dodo). We also learnt about Glasgow's violent history. Didn't realise the prodestants and catholics brawled here too.

We were oniloy here one night, and managed to see most of the city I think.

Edinburgh is next, and we've heard good things so hopefully Scotland will redeem itself for us.
