When we arrived back in Britain we headed to Brighton to spend a couple of days staying with Sian (before she headed off to the Glastonbury Festival and we headed to Goodwood). The first night we went out dinner with some of Sians workmates and then to the theatre to see a musical, High Society (payback to Paul for all the car stuff I've attended). Then the second night Paul cooked lasagne and we headed to the pub and I got to meet some of the people I'll be going to La Tomatina with in August. During the days we wandered around Brighton; we headed along the pier to look at the tacky fairground attractions, ate fish and chips on the pebbly beach (way too windy to sunbake or swim!), wandered along to Hove, through all the second hand shops (where I dreamed of all the dress up parties I'd have!) and into a few of the pubs (apparently there is more than one for every day of the year!)
