we arrived in bris about 4pm after leaving hervey, as soon as we got here we fell in love with the place, its such a big city but so pretty at the same time! we decided to stay in a backpackers because we both needed a shower!!! after looking everywhere for an available one, we booked into city backpackers and decidided to do it on the cheap and stay in an 8 bedroom dorm! we walked in and there were clothes everywhere, u couldnt even see the floor...and the spare beds were covered in clothes etc too! so we told reception that we werent happy and they upgraded us to a deluxe room- i'll complain more often i think!! the next day we went shopping in brisbane for jumpers...we needed them! we drove to surfers in the night and parked up on the side of the road on surfers paradise beach...we went to bed about 11pm, at 3am i got woken up by some man screaming and shouting at some one...it turned out to be his friend but we were so scared i nearly called the police- the only thing stopping us was that fact that we shouldnt be sleeping where we were!!!! the next we spent the day at the beach, the waves were massive, but paul wouldnt surf because he said it was too cold and windy!!!!!
