ok, in oz now. had a few days to get settled, spent 3 nights in Calypso hostel which was good, we couldnt stay there tho, after watching england drop out from their bar the pain was too much for me! we're staying in a hostel on the beach front, its ok. on the front there are little stations with bbqs in them-nice touch i thought. this morning we sorted out our van. its not too flash but i have confidence in 'Frank' we paid a little more than we wanted to but we're quite sure that we'll make it back in sydney. Me and tas are both good, tan is progressing a little slower than i would have liked, i have been sleeping a lot during the day(might have something to do with it). food's been real good- we've not cooked anything ourselves just yet. i think there's going to be a lot of beans on hot floppy bread on the menu. we plan on heading north to cooktown tomorrow to register our van as its a lot easier and cheaper. we'll try to get some snaps of our home for the next 7 weeks online as soon as possible.
