19th May 2006 - Day 49

Spent yesterday in Macau a small Portuguese ex-colony, about a hours Turbo jet ride away from Hong Kong. We officially had a new stamp in our passports too for leaving Hong Kong for a few hours!!! Macau is very Mediterranean, with old churches and a grand central square, which has unfortunately been taken over by MC D's and Starbucks!!! Spent our last evening in a Posh restaurant in Wan Chai back in Hong Kong called Mr Steak - very nice steaks as you've probably guessed.

20th May 2006 - Day 50

Last day in Hong Kong - boo hoo!!! Just packed up and already checked in bags in town (as HK is very efficient) Off to do some last min shopping before catchign the flight to Darwin via Singapore.
