Catching up with Christine, Eowyn and Dustin has been a real treat. Spending the day in the everso pretty town of Kaslo has been a double treat. We started our day at the farmers market, moseyed down to a huge steam paddle-wheel ship from the 1890's, the S.S. Moyie, a fully restored and wonderful time capsule of elegance and curiosity. Just a short wander to the beach where we swam in the Kootney Lake and a slow meander several hours later to the ice cream shop and a relaxing evening at home with yummy food, games and more catching up. So nice to build on old memories and make new ones. We bought Christine's house when she moved away, so there is a neat connection we have, and it was great to reconnect and be in the company of good people where moseying, wandering and meandering in this small Mountain town were the order of he day. I hope we'll be back.
