Saturday 11th July in Phoenix
We have enjoyed a fantastic week in Phoenix relaxing and seeing Phoenix and the shops with our niece and nephew. Phoenix is very hot place but it is a different kind of heat being dry. It has been around the 44c each day but you are in air conditioning a lot. All the houses in Phoenix blend with the dry land the colours of the houses are a desert colour and it seems that the houses are all the same kind of design. We went to a great restaurant called My big fat greek restaurant and it was fantastic food. As per usual i ordered chicken Parmagena much to the disgust of John he thinks I should be adventurous in my food while over here. But i say enjoy what you like. We have done a few American breakfasts which are unique to America. Tonight we are going to see a baseball game here in Phoenix so that will be an experience. It is funny we have been away for 3 weeks and it seems ages, this trip is going so slow and so well. We are so happy with how we planned it as it is working so well. We are well rested but at the same time we have done so much. We head to 1st Assembly Phoenix which is Tommy barnett church. He wrote the book there is a miracle and many other books that I have read. it is a very big church so it will be different for us. My sister in law Maria is taking us as Peter has to work. Looking forward to it. We then head on Monday to Colorado and to the Rocky Mountains.... By the way everyone should give Talitha a hard time as she has not done her blog since Switzerland...... these young ones who cant keep to the commitment of doing what they set out to do ha ha.......
