Tuesday 7th July
Arrived on Sunday afternoon from LA - we drove 5 1/2 hours with Peter to Phoenix Arizona. It was a lovely trip down to Phoenix, reminded me of travelling from carnarvon to karratha. The weather is 113 fahrenheit which is very hot but it is a dry heat, which is so much better than the humidity. yesterday's humidity was only 17%. We spent the day with peter and went to a shopping centre and yes some more shopping. But great bargains. I got these jackets for $14 US. What a bargain. Now we will definitely have to send things back in the post. We then dragged peter to a movie "my sisters keeper" great movie, but you need the tissues. I am actually reading the book which is a bit different from the movie. Today Josh (my nephew) is off from work and we are going to have lunch with him. Talitha has taken over the lounge and is enjoying relaxing and watching TV. Talitha is going to see a band with Josh and Liz and Graham tonight so she will enjoy that.
